ABC's of Science

A is for Acceleration which means you go very fast. In a car, in a plane, or in a rocket blast.

B is for Bacteria. Which is an organism too small for us to see. Some are good, some are bad, some are as weird as can be

C is for Chloroplast, which gives our plants their food. It is made in their cells without being pre-chewed.

D is for Dominant Gene. This is a look that you received from your parents. The one that won the race and gave you your appearance.

E is for Eukaryotic cells. Which are pretty rad. These cells have a nucleus and that makes me glad.

F is for Fossils, and these are pretty old. they tell us about ancient lives, and are a wonder to behold

G is for Gravity, the force that pushes down. Maybe that's why we find it easier to frown

H is for Homozygous genes. The gene from both parents that makes the eyes green

I is for igneous rock, which from lava it is formed. The lava cools until it's solid, all after it is warmed

J is for the Joy Pishko shares, as she teaches and shows us she cares.

K is for Knowledge, an acquired trait, so jump into learning, there is no time to wait.

L is for Lava it's deep in the earth. It's been there since the beginning of earth.

M is for metamorphic rock, they feel a lot of heat. Normal rocks change their look which is pretty sweet.

N is for Newton's Laws, that tells us about and objects motion. But the object is not the ocean.

O is for Outer core, a liquid composed of iron and nickel, but be careful it's hot it's not as cold as a pickle.

P is for Prokaryotic cells, which are smaller than the other. They are way less organized but you got them from your mother.

Q is for Quantitative, focuses on numerical data you measure. That's my pleasure.

R is for Reticulum, a structural cell in lymphoid specifically spleen and lymph nodes. These are in toads.

S is for Sedimentary rocks, which is a layer of rocks made over time. These rocks are a lot easier to climb.

T is for Trait, a quality that is not always passed down. Just like the fact your brother's a clown.

U is for the Unit of life, This is the cells. These cells are even smaller than sea shells.

V is for Volcano. Hot molten rock, gasses, and ashes erupting. These are dangerous, so stop interrupting.

W is for Weathering, the process of breaking down rocks into smaller pieces near the Earth's surface. It's okay don't be nervous.

X is for X chromosomes. This is sex determination. females have 2 X chromosomes in their cells. Males have 1 X and 1 Y as you can tell.

Y is for You. You are kind loving and the best. I don't know the rest.

Z is for Zao volcano. the source of volcanic rock. It is very temperamental be careful not to knock.
