Princess Kemara's sassy Halloween Play Day

Page 1 Princess Kemara loves dressing up, but Halloween is her favorite day because she gets to look as spooky as possible. She puts on her ragged brown dress, her orange belt, and shows off her spooky green skin and green shirt sleeves. She looks in the mirror, shakes her messy short red hair, and laughs because she looks like the scariest monster in the neighborhood. She stomps out the front door ready to frighten the whole street under the dark purple and orange sky. Scene: A white castle background on a green hill with a blue sky, a large black bat flying above, a spider in the corner, and the scary monster girl character with green skin, short red hair, and a brown dress in the center.

Page 2 Kemara stands on the path outside the spooky house under the giant moon. She watches a big black bat fly over the roof while a creepy blue spider peeks out from the grass. She meets up with a little witch, a smiling vampire boy, and a zombie friends. Kemara crosses her arms and tells them her monster look is way scarier than their costumes. She leads the pack down the walkway to start their spooky adventure

Page 3 The little witch, the smiling vampire boy, and the tiny vampire friend follow Kemara down the sidewalk. Kemara tells her spooky crew to stay behind her because she is the boss of the group. She looks inside their buckets and tells them they need to hurry up and get some treats. They walk past a dark dead tree with a bat hanging from it in the yards, but nothing is scarier than Kemara's green skin and loud growls. Scene: The scary monster girl character walking down a sidewalk with the little witch, the vampire boy, and the tiny vampire character following behind her.

Page 4 The group walks along the path to the first house on the block. The tall vampire boy stands to the left, the little witch stands right in the middle, and the tiny vampire stands on the right, all waiting to see what happens. Kemara stands right behind them in her ragged brown dress, looking spooky and ready to lead the trick-or-treating. Everyone holds their candy buckets tight, feeling excited to finally knock on the door.

Page 5 A nice lady opens the door holding a big bowl of treats. Right away, a little boo ghost character pops out from behind the door to surprise the group. Kemara isn't scared at all. She just stands there tall in her brown dress, tells the boobghost his jump scare is weak, and demands the candy. The lady chuckles at Kemara’s sassy attitude and drops apple juice boxes and animal crackers into everyone's buckets. Kemara grabs her treats and tells the witch, the vampire boy, and the zombi that it's time to move out.

age 6 The kids walk down the sidewalk to the next house. This house has glowing orange lights and big paper bats hanging from the porch. The vampire boy is walking very slowly because his long cape keeps tripping him up. Kemara stops and waits for him, telling him to hold his cape up high so he does not fall over. A man dressed like a giant robot opens the door and lets out a big laugh. He tells them they have the best costumes on the street.

Page 7 The giant robot man reaches into a green sack and gives everyone a handful of fruit snacks and small bags of popcorn. The zombie gets so excited that he drops his bucket, and the treats go rolling across the grass. Kemara and the witch quickly bend down to help him scoop everything back up before the wind blows it away. Kemara tells the zombie to hold onto his bucket with both hands from now on so they can keep moving.

Page 8. They head toward the biggest house at the end of the cul-de-sac. This yard has fake cobwebs all over the bushes and a plastic skeleton sitting in a rocking chair. The witch says she is getting tired of walking and wants to go home, but Kemara tells her that they only have a few more houses left to visit. They walk up the steps together and the vampire boy rings the doorbell with his fake plastic fangs shining under the porch light
