My Hispanic Family and Our Traditions
My Family We eat, laugh, listen to music, and make happy good memories together.
Our Food My family loves making tamales, pozole and eating together.
Christmas Traditions During Christmas my family get together spends time together play games and open gifts and eat good food.
Birthday Parties At birthday parties we sing "Las Mananitas" eat cake, break a piñata and enjoy each other company.
Dia de los Muetros My family celebrates Dia de los Metros. We remember love ones with pictures, flowers and special foods. It is a time to remember people we love.
Our Music and Language My family speaks Spanish and English. We listen to music, dance, and communicate with each other very well. Our language helps us stay connected with each other.
Every Family is Special Every family has special traditions. We can learn about each other, be kind and show respect to one another. Our families and our cultures make us special.
