The Curse of The Golden Spike

Once upon a time, there lived a guy named Ethan. He really loved volleyball, but a lot of people didn't believe in him. He works out and trains every day to become better and better, but it seems whatever he does he just can't get get better.

After he works out at the gym he walks home, but sees a homeless person struggling to cross the street, so as a good deed he helps them. "Excuse me ma'am would you like some help," he offers. The homeless lady turns to Ethan and says "yes please my legs are about to give out." "Of course I love helping people, by the way my name is Ethan What's your name, Ethan exclaims. "My name is Samantha nice to meet you Ethan you're a very nice boy."

Ethan helps Samantha safely cross the street, but suddenly the old lady drags Ethan to an alley. "Ethan you were the only person to help me ever, for that I will grant you one wish," Samantha says happily. "Really I can wish for anything," Ethan questions? "I thought you would ask that, but no you can wish for anything but I cannot bring anyone back to life," Samantha explains.

"How do I know if I can trust you," Ethan asks. "I'm a witch disguised as a homeless person, but I'm not a mean witch I'm here to see if anyone would help a struggling woman, but nobody did until you came so as a return I'm giving you one wish," Samantha answers. "Well then my wish is to put a curse on my spikes that makes whoever tries to receive it fall down," Ethan responds. "Ok if that's what you want then your wish is my command," Samantha says in a confused voice.

"To fulfill your wish I must bring you to a magical Island called Wish Island and you have to perform three tasks for me," Samantha explains. "I'll do it I'll do anything I just need to be the best," Ethan exclaims. Samantha uses her magical broom and brings her and Ethan to Wish Island. When they arrive Samantha gives Ethan the list of three tasks he must do before he gets the wish. "I cannot help you with these tasks you must explore and do them yourself but I wish you the best of luck," Samantha says then she disappears. Ethan grabs his list and reads the first one saying "Go to Diamond Lands and find the only ruby hidden in the thousands of diamonds.

Ethan explores Wish Island trying to find diamond lands, but then he sees a beam of light shoot out from the sky behind the trees. Ethan goes to the beam of light but can barely see anything but then the beam of light disappears and Ethan sees a land full of diamonds and he knows he found Diamond Land. Ethan kneels on the floor searching for the one ruby hidden in the thousands or even millions of diamonds in the land. Ethan searches for hours trying to find the ruby then he sees a small red stone and picks it up and suddenly a voice from the sky yells task one complete.

Ethan reads his second task saying "Go to rainbow mountains and find the pot of gold." Ethan then puts the ruby inside his pocket and makes his way out of Diamond Lands and to Rainbow mountains. After searching for a while he finds the mountains and starts climbing. He searches for the pot of gold but sees a trail of gold on the ground. He follows the trail climbing with exhaustion but finally he finds the pot of gold and the same voice from earlier yells out the second task completed.

Ethan reads his third task but the task says he must find the exit in 5 minutes. Ethan runs to find the exit and sees the portal, the portal starts closing but when the portal is almost fully closed he jumps through the last second making it to the other side back to the normal world with the witch waiting on that side. "You made it Ethan now I will fulfill your wish," Samantha says. Samantha taps Ethan with her magical broom sending magic into him then she disappears. Ethan runs to his car driving to the court to test out the new curse of his spike. Ethan arrives at the court and sees his friends there and asks them to receive his spike. Ethan hits a strong spike and when his friends try to receive it they fall. Ethan smiles and goes back to his car to go home. Once he arrives home he jumps onto his bed exhausted from the huge adventure. Through out his whole volleyball career he becomes better and better and has the title of wing spiker. Ethan lived happily ever after
