Mia woke up to the best surprise ever! Her mom had brought home an adorable husky puppy, and he was waiting right beside her bed! Mia couldn't believe her eyes! Her heart started racing, her eyes widened, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. "Is he really mine?" she asked her mom excitedly.
Mia couldn't stop smiling as she looked at her adorable puppy. "I've wanted a puppy for so long! I can't believe he's finally here!" she thought. She gently picked him up and gave him a big cuddle. Although Mia was excited, she also felt a little nervous about taking care of him. "I promise I'll take good care of you!" she whispered.
When Mia saw her new puppy, her heart started racing, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She realized these feelings were caused by her excitement. According to Schachter-Singer's Two-Factor Theory, our emotions are influenced by our physical reactions and how we interpret a situation. Mia understood that her racing heart meant she was excited and happy to finally have a puppy.
Mia learned that having a puppy meant more than just playing. Her puppy needed food, water, safety, and love. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs explains how our basic needs, safety, love, and confidence influence our motivation. Mia felt loved and supported by her mom, and caring for her puppy helped her feel responsible and confident.
As Mia played outside with her new puppy, she couldn't stop smiling. “I'm so happy you're part of our family!” she said. Mia knew that taking care of her puppy would be a big responsibility, but she was excited to learn. With her mom by her side and her new best friend beside her, Mia felt loved, happy, and confident. It was the beginning of a wonderful friendship!
