Chase and his parents

Chase was a bad kid who said bad words, he disrespected his parents and called people nerds!

One afternoon chase needed to do his chores, "No mum, you are such a bore!"

"You will do those dishes, and you will do them well, do it now or else I'm going to yell."

"No mum, I won't follow your rules, I will not do it now you big big fool!"

His mum looked down at him with bewildering fear, she couldn't believe what her ears had to hear

Chase walked away and stormed to his bed, he was so angry his face turned red!

"I cant believe she wanted me to be her slave! I cant have that so i will misbehave."

Next day his dad wanted to go to the playground, but instead Chase made an annoying sound.

"No dad, I don't want to play, i will not do whatever you say!"

His dad looked at him and he was very cross, his words were at a very great loss

"You will not speak to us like that, stop it now you little brat!"

Chase looked at his dad with confused fear, he couldn't believe what his ears had to hear!

Back in his bedroom that very same night, he thought he heard his parents begin to fight

He heard his name a couple of times, and he felt his head begin to twine

Chase's curiosity got the best of him, so he decided to look, just a little skim

"He's getting out of control, he's getting really mean!"

"I'm running out of good ideas it seems..."

"We need to do something, he cant talk to us this way."

"I'm sick of his behavior, we need to send him away."

Chase's conscience started ringing in his head, this is what Chase's conscience said:

"Please Chase, choose good over bad, or else you might make your parents very sad,"

"Honor your mother and honor your father, please don't make their life harder."

"I'm just your thoughts its really your choice, but the sound in your head? Change that voice."

Chase loved his parents, so he knew what to do. He was going to say sorry and start his life anew.

He headed to the lounge room a script in his head, his parents looked startled at what he had said.

"I love you mum, and I love you dad. I'm sorry that I made you two mad..."

"I heard what you both had to say, please do not send me away!"

Chases mum and dad looked at each other, then someone spoke up, Chases mother

"We love you very much and that is a fact, you can stay here if you change how you act."

Chase jumped with joy and hugged his mum, and suddenly, his dad didn't seem so glum

Chase listened to his conscience and got closer to God, his behaviour changed which was very odd

But now whenever Chase needs to choose, he listens to his conscience, and his parents are never blue

He went to church and learned about heaven, he knew more than most at the age of eleven

Moral of the story, listen to that voice in your head, maybe the most important thing is what it says
