The Sudanese Experience.
0ne windy Thursday, Kalere and her brother, Tijiri, were going out for their daily task. Snack Shopping.
Just two kids, playing around in the set of the Kenyan sun.
But all of a sudden, a man comes from the opposition tribe. Dinka. Kalere and Trijiri can already tell he's not up to no good.
After what seems like forever, He finally speaks.
10 year old Trijiri, is still learning Arabic. The Man Asks" Where are you coming from?" When encountering these people. Never. Tell. Them. Where. You. Live.
I understand him though. All of a sudden, men with big armor, approaches us.
Kalere couldn't let them take him, she has to advocate.
FIRE AT THEM! The Dinka man screams! at this point, Kalere and Trijiri is in a life of death moment.
I know at this moment, Kalere and Trijiri feel blessed.
Im glad were okay. Together Kalere says.
