This story is set in 1912 The Avonlea school was a well educated school in the united kingdom a boy name Jake was eleven years old,He lived in London

Jake mom,Malinda said ,'Make lots of friends okay',Jake nodded to his mom.Jake went to the school with his dad, Martinez.Jake uses a car to go to school .Jake was from a worthy family.

Jake is a British and Spanish boy so Jake dosen`t understand english that much.Jake arrived to the school.

Jake was nervous during his first day of school . mr Philip greet Jake learned Geography,Maths and British History his favorite class is mr philips class

But then, World War 1 started .Jake had to stay at home because of the German empire bombs were dropped buildings was destroyed and many people died

After that, the radio said,'The German Empire surrendered peace begins today.'

Some students were not at school ,mr Philip gave us slates to practice for the spelling test .Jake instead of spelling Greece he spelled Grece

Then, jake was eating at the lunch table canteen he met someone his name is Glibert a American-British boy who was the same age as jake glibert said,``Do you want to be best friends". jake repiled, ``Sure'' then a girl pushed jake to the canteen floor and then kicked her then he got detention from mr philips and the girl who pushed jake didn`t get any punishment
