the accra flood

YIREKU Yireku rode his bike down to the park to meet his two friends, Jayden and Elorm - they were all pupils at Achimota secondary school. He had up till six o'clock to play. On his way, a ball of paper from a nearby car flew toward his direction and landed at his feet and he started to notice the trash in the gutters. He yelled at the driver and remembered the time he had to play.

He got to the park, huffing and puffing and noticed Jayden and Elorm playing football with Caleb; the messiest boy in school. Yireku loved geography and global perspectives class so he wasn’t a big fan of pollution. He didn’t like Caleb.Caleb was a bully. He had taken the ball from Jayden, and he had thrown rubbish all over the park. Yireku was angry .As he stormed over to Caleb, thunder crackled and it began to rain.

Yireku, Caleb,Jayden, Elorm and other people in the park ran as the rain poured.Water started to rise in the gutters, and the sea level started to rise.

Water started to rise in the gutters, and the sea level started to rise. It was a flood and a tsunami.

They made their way to the roof of a house and Caleb said he would never litter again

In the end, the community people decided never to litter again
