How Snails Became Slow

In the year 500Bc, Jonathon Barry the god of speed and his dog Bolt decide to head back to Earth after 10 years in war with the Inferno's, the gods of war. After landing back to Earth Jonathon and Bolt come across a town named Dryville.

When coming into Dryville everything feels normal, as they come closer to town they notice goo leaking from all the buildings in the town. When Jonathon looks closer into the buildings he sees everyone in panic. Thinking about how strange the town is Jonathon and Bolt use their super speed to rush into the buildings looking for source that is causing everyone to panic.

Goo was everywhere, every building was bombarded with it. As Jonathon and Bolt enter the last building they notice a beehive like nest. The nest was massive, it was as wide as a couch, and as tall as a dinner table that fits 8. As Jonathon peaks through the hive, he gets swarmed with snails, as the snails get out of the their hive Jonathon and Bolt use that time to escape the building, in just a second Jonathon sees the snails rushing to him and Bolt right after they left the building.

As the snails chase after Jonathon, he realizes these snails are as fast as him. Jonathon starts to panic, its literally impossible for a living being to be as fast as Jonathon and Bolt unless they're a god or they were given the speed by a god. Jonathon knew what gave the snails speed, the Inferno's. The Inferno's are mythical goads that can control their shape of body making them what ever they want to give them an advantage with battles All of a sudden Jonathon and Bolt get hit with a massive strike hitting them straight to a building. "We always come back!" The Inferno's said.

As Jonathon gets back up he uses his super speed to run away from Dryville with Bolt. When getting away from Dryville Jonathon and Bolt come across the snails, this time Jonathon was prepared for this battle. Jonathon knew the Inferno's will come back to attack him so Jonathon and Bolt run back to their home planet called Zasha, Zasha is known for its gods with great talents. All of the gods from Zasha came from a power source, a stone so powerful it can control time itself. Jonathon knew about the stone, the story was passed down from his family.

As Jonathon comes to Zasha the Inferno's and snails come back chasing after him. Jonathon rushes to his home town going to the museum of magic, Jonathon rushes to the stone breaking the glass and grabbing it. The moment Jonathon touches the stone he feels a strong sense of power. As Jonathon takes control of his new powers he puts a curse on the Inferno's and snails, making every Inferno vanish and causing every snail in the world to be as slow as a sloth. As the Inferno's disappear Jonathon hides the stone back in the museum and goes back to Earth with Bolt living there for the rest of their life. This is the story of how snails are slow.
