Find your way

Imani is a 13 year old girl who lives with her mom,dad,and two younger siblings .

one day while Imani and her siblings were playing ball the ball rolled away and Imani went to go get it.

while he was gone soldiers toke her family worried they might take her to she stayed quite .

now Imani doesn't know what to do other than hide so that what she does.she hides for hours.

after a while the soldiers leave with her family.That's when she decides that she going to find her family and bring them back home.

she follows the foot print in hope that it will lead her to her family.

after a while she comes to house with bars on the windows she looks in side and she her mom and dad and her siblings.

she see the door,she runs in to see her family sitting on the floor in a room.

she tells them how she came to save them.Her parents picked up her siblings and RAN!

They ran for hours.Until they couldn't run any more.They decide to stay where they were for the night in a tent

the next morning they wake up and continue there walk back home.By noon they had made it home.Imani parents were so proud of her for being so brave and helping the family

As the author of Find Your Way I wrote this book to help create awareness.A lesson you can lean from this is being brave even when its hard to be.
