The Strange Dog
Introduction The school bell rang shrilly. It was dismissal time! The students ran out of the school gate happily. Jack walked out of school with relief! He took out his umbrella and started walking towards his home.
Problem Suddenly, he heard a loud bark. He jumped a little. He looked around curiously and spotted a stray dog staring at him. Jack reached out his hand to pet the dog. The dog gave a loud howl and pounced on Jack.
Climax Jack used his umbrella to block the attacks. Luckily, he managed to escape with only a few scratches. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him. His heart was thumping loudly. He was breathless in no time.
Solution He decided to hide in a grocery shop nearby. The granny at the shop helped bandage his wounds and gave him a bottle of water to drink. Jack called his parents using the phone in the shop.
Conclusion Jack's parents arrived within minutes as they were nearby. His parents were relieved he was not seriously injured. Jack learnt that he should exercise caution when he is around stray animals.
