Holly's First Day

Chirp Chirp, I hear the birds sing. Its my first day of school. What should I wear?

I can't find anything quite right. Then I see my dress. My pink dress.

When I see the bus I hurry down the stairs. I quickly put on my new shoes. Beep Beep.

Holly gets to school. She is very nervous. She doesn't know where to sit.

Holly finds a seat. The teacher tells them to get into partners. Nobody wanted to partner up with her.

The bell rings. Ding. All the kids run to lunch.

Holly has no one to sit with. She begins to get upset and embarrassed. But then...

Your name is Holly right? Well Hi my name is Benny. Can I sit with you?"

Holly and Benny realized they have a lot in common. "Thank you for sitting with me" Holly says. They go to recess together.

Holly and Benny go to the swings. They laugh and become friends. Holly feels less nervous.

They walk back to class. Holly joins Benny's table with his friends. She meets new friends.

It's the end of the day. School is about to end. Holly says bye to all her new friends.

Holly gets on the bus. She can't wait to go home. She is going to tell her parents everything.

Holly runs up to the house. With the biggest smile on her face. She says Mom Dad!

She tells her parents about Benny. And all of her other friends she made. She can't wait for tomorrow.

Holly gets ready for bed. Thinking about her day tomorrow. Holly likes her new school.
