First day of kindergarten
While on their way to school, the boy refused to set foot in the building. He got very sad and wanted to go home. His mother too was having a bit of time adjusting to this fast change.
Eventually, the boy went to his class. He felt scared to be alone for the first time. He wasn't used to this new environment. After everything calmed down and his teacher introduced herself, he began to relax a little bit. The boy noticed some of his other classmates were just like him.
At the end of the first day of school, the boy felt different than he did when he got there. His teacher made the class day fun, he made new friends, and he was ready to come back the next day. His mom was relieved as well to see her son adapted well to his new routine.
