Sandra Learns to Share

It was a normal day for Sandra the Snake. She woke up as happy as ever. She yawned as she opened her eyes "Good morning Barry" She spoke to her bear, "I wonder what everyone is doing today." she slithered off to find her friends.

Sandra slithered all the way to the farm where she saw her friend Coco.

"Hi Sandra! What are you doing on the farm?" Said Coco "Hi Coco! I was hoping to find someone to play with, do you want to play with me?" Sandra replied.

"I would love to play. This is my train it goes chugga chugga choo choo!!" Explained Coco "Wow, can I see that?" "Sure".

"Can I see that bear?" Asked Coco. "My bear? But he's mine?" " He is, yes but we are sharing."

Sharing is a new idea for Sandra, she is the only little snake in her family so she has not learned how to share.

"I don't know how to share" Sandra said under her breath. She never had to share her toys before "That's okay!" Said Coco. "Sharing is something we can learn. It means letting our friends play with something too."

Sandra looked at Barry the Bear and back at Coco "But what if I want to play with him too? " asked Sandra. "That's the best part!" Coco explained "we take turns, you can have a turn, then I can have a turn." Coco and Sandra decided to walk to the park as Sandra thought of what to do next.

After thinking about it Sandra said "Okay you can have a turn, but be careful!" " I will be!" Coco said excitingly as she gave Barry a big hug.

Once Coco was done she gave Barry back to Sandra. "See? Sharing can be fun!" Coco exclaimed Sandra smiled as she spoke "I think I get it!"

"Thank you for teaching me to share Coco." said Sandra "You're welcome, it's always more fun when we play together!" And from that day on, Sandra remembered that sharing makes playing even better.
