"Jamal can you and Nick go to the pond and get us some water" mom said,"yeah sure" said Jamal.

On the way back to the village Jamal and Nick had saw 2 random army truck stop by at the village, then what the solider did was insane they had burn down the whole village into fire and mom and dad had pass always and die in the fire.

But then their dog son had ran out of one of the fire building and jump into Jamal hand.

Then after the fire Jamal and Nick was talking and they had decided to travel by desert to go to Uganda for a better life.

As they were walking Nick found out that they had ran out of food "Jamal we ran out of food what should we do now!" Nick said "wait I think I have a idea there is a snake near by let hunt it and cook it then we will have food to eat" Jamal said.

After a while they had hunted down the snake and had made a fire and eat it.

As they are eating a truck stop by and solider started to hop out and shooting at them and Nick had die from the attack.

As the solider ran back to their truck and drive off Jamal was left with sadness and anger as he lost his only brother then son the dog had ran to Jamal and bark at him then when Jamal follow Son he had found a old rusty car that still have some fuel in it.

As they drive the trying to go to Uganda they were stop again mid driving and it was the solider they had follow Jamal now as Jamal get out the car to see what is happening the solider hop out and start to shoot as Jamal fastly hide behind the car the car had been shoot up and explode with son inside it and son had die and Jamal was badly hurt from the explosion as the solider come up to check they saw that Jamal was injure so they think that he is dead but he was just badly injure so the solider had drive off.

As the solider left Jamal had get up and keep walking to Uganda but as he walk tear had start to drop as all the pain and sadness fold in and as each of how his family die all come into his mind making even more sad.

As Jamal cry a truck had come and that was some nice people and they had come to rescue him as he get into the car he was happy but sad also.

AS then Jamal was rescue and was fly to the USA.
