The Hydra

Once upon a time there was a little baby Hydra trapped in a really big fish tank living in The Louvre museum in Paris, France. No one ever really went by that big fishtank because everyone said the Hydra was “too scary”.

As the years went by the Hydra grew bigger and bigger but he also grew angrier and angrier day by day. The Hydra got so mad he escaped his tank by using one of his three heads to shatter the very very thick fish tank glass.

The glass was ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE you could think of. People heard the glass shatter from very far away, but when they all quickly looked around the corner to see what was going on or what had happened they all got quickly devoured by the Hydra. All except one…

There was this one teenage boy that went to the museum everyday for almost 6 years straight. He went and visited the Hydra every day at the same time when he went to the museum. The Hydra appreciated the boy very much and he loved seeing the boy everyday. It brought the Hydra a little bit of joy. But… No one knew that.

One day the Hydra woke up from his sleep in a pretty good mode which was very very surprising for him and for the workers in the museum that had to handle him in the mornings, afternoons, and nights. He had a good day that day and wished that he would feel the same the next day.

To everyone's surprise the Hydra had a good week and the people touring around the museum day by day actually started to talk nice about him and be nice to him as well. When the teenaged boy came in everyday he was very glad to see that the Hydra was in a good mood. Sometimes the boy would stay late after the Louvre museum closed to read the Hydra some eventful stories about Greek Mythological creatures.

When the Hydra heard all about the Mythological creatures, Gods, and Goddesses his mouths opened wide. Right then and there in that exact moment the teenage boy found out that the Hydra could understand everything that everyone was saying. The boy was absolutely flabbergasted to the depth of his soul. Then one day EVERYTHING changed… and not for the better.

When the workers at the museum returned to their jobs the next day they could ALL see that the Hydra was VERY ANGRY. He was acting like he had never been before and that frightened EVERYONE that walked in his path.

The Hydra heard someone make fun of him because of the way he looked and how there was no other creature in his tank. The Hydra at that point was fed up with all of the comments and looks that he has ever gotten within his time being in the Louvre museum. The Hydra SLAMMED his heads against the fish tanks glass and then things took a serious turn. When the Hydra escaped his tank he devoured everyone in the world… All except one…

The teenaged boy.
