Emotions
Emotions are a thing that everyone in this world deals with. We all have a few basic emotions such as anger, fear, sadness, disgust, surprise, anticipation, trust, and joy. We feel these for brief periods of time, and they come and go quickly.
In order to communicate with people, we can be aware of how we express these emotions and show them to people.
You also need to pay attention to your body and how it reacts to this certain feeling. If you are aware of how your body feels when you get a certain emotion this can help you recognize the emotion.
We have a few basic emotions, but emotions go much further than we think. Looking at an emotion vocabulary chart can help us pinpoint exactly what we may be feeling.
In order to express your emotions, you need to first plan how you are going to do it. You need to think about the point you are trying to get across and what emotions you are truly feeling
You need to plan to express your emotions at the right place and time.
The best way to express your emotions is by using “I” statements.
A good example would be “I feel sad when we don’t hang out often” instead of “You never want to hang out with me”.
