Scoops of Happiness
It was a hot, sunny day at the playground. We had a great idea. "Let's get ice cream!"
We got in the car and I drove my kids, Thomas and Delilah, to the ice cream shop.
Inside, it was so bright and colorful! It was also very busy. A nice girl named Emma smiled and said "Welcome!"
Emma asked Delilah, "What flavor would you like?"
Strawberry with rainbow sprinkles, please! Delilah said. She loved her pink cone.
Next, Emma asked Thomas, "What flavor would you like?"
"Chocolate with chocolate chips, please!" Thomas shouted. Yum!
Then it was my turn. I got my favorite- Rocky Road! I love the marshmallows!
We sat down together. Delilah smiled and said, "Mommy, this is the best day ever!"
We love eating ice cream together. Now, raise your hand .. who likes ice cream?
