The Path to Moksha

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Anu. Anu's dad, Veer, was a priest in the Hindu temple. Veer was telling Anu about the 3 Gods of Hinduis,. "This is Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, Veer said.

"Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is keeps things balanced, and Shiva is the destroyer," Veer told Anu. "Shiva is my favorite!" Anu screamed.

"Don't say that son!" Veer told Anu. "Why not?" Anu asked. "You could get bad karma by picking a favorite God," Veer said. "What's karma?" Anu asked.

"Karma is when you do things that change your current or future lives!" Veer said. "It can be both good and bad," he added.

"Future lives?" Anu asked. "Yes, after you pass away, you are reborn as a new person. This is called reincarnation," Veer told Anu. "You stop having new lives when you reach moksha," he added.

"What's that dad?" Anu asked. "Moksha is when people understand everything about life. They are calm and have no worries," Veer told him. "I WANNA REACH MOKSHA DAD!!!" Anu yelled.

20 Years Later... "Wow, the Holi festival is beautiful," Anu told his wife Siya. "I always love seeing the color festival," she told Anu. Anu was now the Hindu priest, just like his dad was.

He still had one goal in mind though. He wanted to reach Moksha. He told people about Hinduism and continued to spread the words of the Gods.

30 Years Later... Anu has fallen sick. He had one wish for after his life. He wanted people to carry on he and his fathers legacy of talking about Hinduism.

About 3 days later, after Anu went to rest, a baby was born in a temple in India. He was born to a man of no religion. The baby was named, Anu.

From the time he was born, people could tell he was special. He would point out signs that talked about Hinduism. Growing up, he began learning more and more about Hinduism.

He grew up and became a priest, telling everyone about Hinduism. When he finally went to rest, he felt a way he never had before. He felt as if he had reached Moksha
