In the Beginning

In the Beginning

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and desolate, and there is no life on it. God dried some of the water and named it “Land”. And called the blue liquid “water”.

Then God realized that it was really dark and so He created light and dark and separated them. He named the light “Day” and the darkness “Night”.

Then God created living things, which are animals. He created all of the living things, on land and on water. God created human beings to take care of all the animals. He molded soil from the ground and made a man. His name was Adam.

God thought about Adam and he looked lonely. So God put Adam to sleep, and took out one of his ribs and molded it with clay to make a woman. Her name was Eve.

Now that God finished all of his work he gave instructions to Adam and Eve. “You can go anytime to the Garden of Eden” said God. “But you can not eat the apple from the Tree of Knowledge” They obeyed his commands.
